I was born and raised in the Christian church- specifically the African Methodist Episcopal Church. While I loved and valued my time in the AME Church, I am now a member of and pastoring in the United Church of Christ (UCC). As the senior pastor of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Cincinnati, OH I work diligently to promote race & social justice and women's rights, combat issues impacting climate change, and encourage individuals to use the ancient wisdom of Christianity, and other world religions and thoughts to live their best lives AND promote positive change in the world. I consider myself Christian+, in other worlds I am a proud follower of Christ and I appreciate the principals, stories, and beauty of the Christian faith, yet I also find peace and help in other ancient wisdoms including: Islam, Buddhism, Yoruba, Taoism, New Thought, Mindfulness, and others. Exploring the themes of peace, love, meditation, and prayer in other thoughts enhancing my Christian experience.
